FAQs

How do I secure a date for my event?

A signed Rental Agreement along with 50% of the Room + Bar Rental Fee to secure your reservation. The remaining 50% is due 60 days prior to the event.

The Mill Room does not reserve event dates further out than 18 months from your event date.

What time can I use the space?

Access to The Mill Room begins at 10 AM on the day of your event if rented all day. Event duration is limited to 6 hours unless special arrangements are made in advance.

All events must end no later than 1 AM, with last call at 12:30 AM. Reservation start times are flexible based on availability.

Every event reservation includes 30 minutes of complimentary set-up time prior to your scheduled event start time and another 30 minutes to break down. If no event is scheduled prior to yours, the space may be available for an earlier set-up. Additional fees may apply.

Can I bring my own decorations?

Yes. All non-compostable and/or non-recyclable items brought into the facility must be removed by Host at the end of the event. These may include, but are not limited to, decorations, gift wrap, and disposable food packaging brought in by an outside caterer. Trash cans and heavy-duty trash bags can be provided, if required. Although EFB staff will clean the room following each event, it is the responsibility of Host to remove personal belongings and any trash brought in at the end of the event.

You may not affix anything to the walls, floors, or ceilings without prior approval. Gaffer’s tape may be used on some surfaces. Command hooks and other damage-free adhesives may be used on some surfaces.

ABSOLUTELY no glitter, glitter balloons, confetti, feather boas, flower petals, ceiling draping, nails, staples, or thumbtacks can be used in the space.

Candles are permitted only when properly contained within a non-flammable vessel to protect all surfaces from dripping wax and/or prevent fire hazards—no taper candles.

Can I rent different furniture than what is provided?

Yes! Specialty party rental items must be obtained through your Event Coordinator at The Mill Room. We work with a list of approved vendors who can supply table linens, specialty furniture, radiant heaters, A/V equipment, lighting, etc.

Please inquire if you are interested in any of these items.

Can I leave stuff and pick it up the next day?

Unless special arrangements are made in advance, no personal items, rentals, or décor can be left on-site overnight.

The Mill Room does not offer any storage space for personal items or equipment. All vendors are responsible for stowing their gear.

Is the space ADA accessible?
